I’ve rented this space to host a cultural introduction to China, centered on language and music. Since moving to Prague in 2017, I’ve received a mix of welcomes here, likely tied to my Chinese nationality. This event offers neighbors a relaxed, non-political look at Chinese culture: a greeting phrase, tips on which questions to avoid, and Q&A at the end. I’ll also introduce Chinese through a song, since most people overstate how hard it is to learn, and share stories on everyday cultural differences, hoping for better understanding and less tension.
