Paperback Music je pražská kapela, která spojuje jazz s elektronickými zvuky a melodickými linkami popu/funku/soulu. Její historie sahá až do 20. let a její vnímání hudby se liší i díky bohatému přínosu mnoha přátel kapely nebo bývalých členů, ačkoli srdce kapely zůstává po celou dobu stejné. V současné době se kapela skládá z pěti (a půl) členů – kytaristy a zpěváka Davida Dovoleho, zpěvačky Veroniky Vénos, kytaristy a skladatele Petra Charouzeka, baskytaristy Jiřího Wolfa, perkusního bubeníka Františka Lebedy a našeho milovaného „elektronického zařízení“. Protože kapela má tendenci experimentovat s uměním tónů a obsahu více než tvořit strukturovanou hudbu, nenechte se překvapit různými jazyky, formami nebo styly.

Prague-based band blending jazz with electronic sounds and melodic lines of
pop, funk, and soul. Their history stretches back to the 2010s, and their
musical perspective has evolved thanks to the contributions of many friends and
former members, though the heart of the band has remained the same. Today, the band consists of five
(and a half) members — guitarist and singer David Dovole, vocalist Veronika
Vénos, guitarist and composer Petr Charouzek, bassist Jiří Wolf, percussionist
František Lebeda, and our beloved “electronic device.” Known for experimenting with
tones and content rather than sticking to structured music, don’t be surprised
by shifts in language, form, or style during their performance.
